IDSW is a GERMAN educational institution located in the heart of the political capital YAOUNDÉ.

Who Are We?

Created 25 years ago, IDSW organizes and supports young graduates, students and workers wishing to pursue their STUDIES, TRAINING and JOBS in GERMANY through our A1-A2, B1-B2 and C1 sessions.

Our institute has built a solid reputation through its expertise in teaching the German language and supporting expatriation projects to Germany.

Our Courses

Our training levels have been developed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This emanation of the Council of Europe has defined international standards for validating different levels of language proficiency.

The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)

The CEFR is an international standard for describing and assessing language skills. It defines 6 levels of proficiency, from A1 (beginner) to C2 (complete mastery).

A1 - Beginner Level

Ability to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very simple statements.

A2 - Elementary Level

Ability to understand isolated sentences and frequently used expressions related to immediate priority areas.

B1 - Intermediate Level

Ability to understand the main points when clear and standard language is used and if it concerns familiar things.

B2 - Upper Intermediate Level

Ability to understand the essential content of concrete or abstract topics in a complex text, including technical discussion.

C1 - Advanced Level

Ability to understand a wide range of long and demanding texts, as well as grasp implicit meanings.
